Quality Assurance Process
Quality assurance requires a systematic plan encompassing all actions necessary to provide adequate confidence so the product or process being developed can be assured to meet the customer's expectations. The quality assurance plan needs to be repeatable and measurable with predefined goals.
Our goal is to add value to our clients’ infrastructure by creating a quality program that meets the needs of their product and business.
We are manufacturing equipments as per quality norms recommended
by the international codes and engineering standards. To achieve
this ,a detailed quality plan is worked out for every equipment
in order to maintain tolerances and pass the prescribed trail
tests and checks. The normal course of quality assurance
programme involves inspection, which can be grouped as follows
|
|
|
|
1. MATERIAL TESTING:
The material is tested for chemical and physical
properties as well as dimensional tolerances as
prescribed by the materials standards. If the test
certificates are not available, check testing is also
done and a proper record of the result id maintained in
required format
2. INPROCESS INSPECTION:
The in process inspection involves testing and
inspection while the part or subassembly manufacturing
is underway. For the process equipments, welding
procedure qualifications and welding qualification tests
may be carried out. Other tests in this category include
fitting, marking, layout etc prior to fitting.
3. FINAL INSPECTION:
This consists of dimensional conformation and visual
inspection. The inspection data is maintained in
required format for clearance and records.
4. TRIAL RUN:
Before the subassembly or the equipment is released for
further processing, trial run is carried out. It is in
the form of hydro testing and for rotating equipments it
is in the form of running the machine for finite period
of time and is tested for radial run out, smooth
running, ovality, freeness. Heat up of bearing housing
and grease fitting is also checked. . For idlers water
proof and dust proof tests are carried out to check for
any dust and moisture trapped in roller.
